My toast doesn’t turn out right

  • For regular sliced bread, toast at 280°C for 2–3 minutes

  • For thick slices (3–4 cm), lower the temperature to 220–240°C and toast for 3–4 minutes to warm the bread all the way through without burning the top

  • If your bread has become dry and stale, lightly mist it with water before toasting to help restore its freshly baked texture!

Food cooks unevenly

  • For foods such as croissants and fish, which may have uneven surfaces, lightly covering them with aluminium foil or positioning the raised parts farther away from the heating elements can help prevent uneven browning and burning

  • Since different ingredients cook at different rates, you can also try adding them at staggered intervals, starting with the ingredients that take the longest to cook!

Smoke comes out when I start cooking

  • If leftover bread crumbs or sauce on the crumb tray start to burn, or if cheese or other food residue sticks to the mesh rack or heating elements, remove the residue and clean the affected areas thoroughly

  • If grease from fatty foods, such as meat, splatters onto the heating elements and causes smoke, you can reduce smoke by covering the food with aluminium foil or using the included grill pan as a lid

Food has fallen onto the heating element and burnt

  • No cleaning is required

  • The burnt residue will gradually disappear with continued use due to the heating element’s self-cleaning effect

  • Some smoke or a burnt smell may occur temporarily. Ventilate the room if needed

  • Do not attempt to remove the residue, as this may damage the heating element
